Job summary

Altria Group Distribution Company is seeking a Retail Merchandising Associate to provide superior in-store execution and support for trade programs. You will place POS materials, reset fixtures, manage POS inventory, and ensure data quality across assigned accounts.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with changing directions across multiple stores. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and complete a series of tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Courteous and professional communication while interacting with co-workers and customers.
• Work independently and adapt to changing direction across stores.
• Proficient using a computer for planning, recording and transmitting information, and email communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior execution of merchandising elements of trade programs at retail.
• Place POS materials in retail stores to support trade programs and merchandising.
• Reset in-store fixtures following a plan-o-gram; manage fixture labeling and product placement.
• Repair and replace damaged shelf and signage components as needed.
• Manage inventory of POS materials for merchandising execution.
• Count on-hand product inventory in retail stores.
• Ensure consistent and quality data collection.
• Use systems and tools to improve decision making.
• Visit more stores to improve efficiency and customer contacts.
• Provide feedback on market plan development and execution.
• Promote engagement, collaboration, and inclusive behaviors.
