Altria Group Distribution Company is seeking a Retail Merchandising Associate to drive in-store execution of trade programs and ensure product visibility at retail.

You will place POS materials, reset fixtures per plan, and manage POS inventory while maintaining data quality. The role requires a high school diploma and strong organization, with travel to assigned stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and complete tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

• Work independently and adapt to changing directions.
• Proficient in planning, recording and transmitting information via email and similar platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior execution of the merchandising elements of trade programs at retail.
• Place POS materials in retail stores to support trade programs, product and promotional initiatives and merchandise product where necessary.
• Reset in-store merchandising fixtures by following a plan-o-gram. Resets include temporarily removing existing products, labeling for planned product and placing product back in fixtures.
• Repair and replace damages or broken shelf and signage components on existing in-store merchandising fixtures, where applicable.
• Manage your inventory of POS to ensure you have necessary materials for merchandising execution.
• Count on hand product inventory in retail stores.
• Ensure consistent and quality data collection.
• Use systems and tools to improve our overall decision making.
• Execute plans visiting more stores to improve our efficiency and customer contacts.
• Provide feedback on the development and execution of market plans.
• Promote a culture of engagement, collaboration, and inclusion and model inclusive behaviors.
