Job summary

Michaels Stores in the Knox-Maryville, TN area is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and coordinate children’s parties and craft events inside the store. You will engage guests of all ages and guide craft activities to deliver a fun, creative experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating events with store teams, handling bookings and communications, assisting customers with purchases, and supporting store operations while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

• Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons and communicate events with clients and store team.
• Assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Perform store tasks like truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
