Houchens Food Group in Pittsburgh is seeking an Inventory Manager for full-time, in-store operations reporting to the Store Manager. The role focuses on controlling and optimizing all aspects of store inventory to ensure availability and accuracy.

You will oversee receiving, transfers, credits, pricing updates, and training to reduce shrink while maintaining precise inventory data across the store system.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory principles in a retail setting.
• Experience using retail software and POS systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Receive all product into store inventory and complete receiving processes with vendors.
• Oversee inter-store transfers and credits.
• Maintain data accuracy in the store system (quantity on hand, dollar accuracy).
• Manage shrink and backroom inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Update price changes, tags, and discontinued SKUs.
• Train staff on inventory management best practices.
