Houchens Food Group in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Inventory Manager for a full-time, in-store role reporting to the Store Manager. The position focuses on controlling all elements of store inventory.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, managing inter-store transfers, price changes, shelf labeling, shrink control, and cycle counts. You will train staff and ensure data accuracy in the store system, supporting uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, Word, and Excel is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented with data accuracy focus.

Responsabilités

• Receive and process all store inventory shipments and transfers.
• Maintain data accuracy in inventory counts and systems.
• Manage shrink and prevent theft and breakage.
• Process price changes and update shelf labels.
• Train staff on inventory management best practices.
• Complete cycle counts and hardware reports.
• Support monthly ACE ad merchandise purchases.
