Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture in Vista, CA is seeking a design-focused sales professional to engage in-store guests, apply the Guest Engagement Model, and emphasize interior design. You will assist with design appointments, provide product knowledge, and present customized room concepts.

You will master product knowledge, process transactions at POS, complete training, and contribute to the team to meet revenue targets. This role requires weekend/holiday work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent in interior design
• 1-2 years experience in a customer service, retail, or furniture store environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs; knowledge of design software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project
• Provide relevant design advice, product knowledge, and product recommendations
• Present customized room designs and recommendations
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines and product features
• Master product knowledge and brand design inspiration
• Process customer transactions in the Point of Sale system
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning
• Support store team to delight guests and meet revenue targets
• Ensure the store is ready for grand opening by completing daily tasks and style guides
• Work weekends and most holidays in a fast-paced environment
