Job summary

Living Spaces in San Francisco is seeking an in-store design-focused sales associate to help guests with the Guest Engagement Model and interior design emphasis. You will engage visitors, assess design goals, and present customized room designs while guiding them through product options and services.

Responsibilities include mastering product knowledge, processing POS transactions, and supporting the store team to meet revenue targets in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) in interior design or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in customer service, retail, or furniture store environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs and product options.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise lines and features.
• Process customer transactions in the Point of Sale system.
• Complete required training and support store team to meet revenue targets.
• Ensure the store is ready for grand openings and daily style guides.
• Work weekends and most holidays in a fast-paced environment.
