Job summary

Living Spaces in Scottsdale is seeking a design-focused sales associate to engage guests, provide expert design advice, and present customized room designs. You will guide customers through product selections, maintain knowledge of merchandise lines, and process transactions in the POS system.

The role emphasizes interior design credentials and customer service experience, with opportunities to support the store team and meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent in interior design.
• 1-2 years experience in a customer service, retail, or furniture store environment.
• Computer skills include Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency using Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables, and accessories.
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines and features.
• Process customer transactions in the POS system.
• Support store team to delight guests and achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure store readiness and complete daily task lists for Grand Opening.
