Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a customer-centric in-store sales and service representative in Williston, ND. You will handle telephone orders, assist customers at the counter, and perform warehouse duties including moving cylinders while supporting the Outside Sales team.

Responsibilities include recommending products, promoting add-on gases and hard goods, maintaining accurate records and pricing, and making outbound calls to retail customers. Growth opportunities exist within a global gas leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in Customer Service, Inside Sales or Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills essential for success in this role.
• No DUI/DWI or alcohol-related driving convictions in the last 10 years.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders, answer questions, resolve issues, and trace order status or shipments.
• Serve customers at the retail store counter.
• Move cylinders and perform warehouse duties for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and hard goods accessories and demonstrate products in-store.
• Maintain customer records and pricing accuracy.
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small customers.
• Sell products at minimal discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support other locations.
