Product Connections in Abilene, TX is seeking an Associate to perform in-store demonstrations of food and non-food products. You will learn the products, serve customers, and drive sales while maintaining professional appearance and store standards.

You will manage event equipment, assist leadership, and coordinate with store staff during events. This role typically stays under 25 hours per week and requires comfort with food safety practices and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Computer Skills: Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
• Physical Demands: Stand; walk; lift up to 25 pounds; use knives and cooking appliances.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies in the backroom area.
• Be the point of contact for events when the Supervisor is absent.
• Lead and assist the Event Specialists with kits, materials and tools.
• Explain product features and benefits to consumers and demonstrate products.
• Prepare and serve food samples in compliance with food safety guidelines.
