Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a friendly Customer Service team member in a retail setting in Iowa. You will greet customers, assist with a variety of in-store services, and help ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include processing postal packages, money orders, checks, hunting and fishing licenses, and assisting at registers while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months up to one year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently.
• Customer service mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Weight and process mail, including certified and insured mail.
• Process Western Union orders and faxes for customers.
• Sell money orders and checks to customers.
• Assist customers at registers and in other store areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to store policies.
