Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an experienced Merchandise Manager at our Wilmington, NC store to drive merchandising and operational execution.

The role ensures pricing accuracy, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through strong workload planning and inventory management. You will lead truck processing, planogram implementation, and in-stock routines while coaching team members, maintaining SOPs, and supporting asset protection and store recovery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive merchandising and operational execution, including planogram sets and visual standards.
• Lead truck processing, inventory routines, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership and service standards.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN receiving, and inventory integrity.
• Train and develop team members and uphold asset protection practices.
