Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking engineers to develop and manage a software-in-loop and hardware-in-loop testbed for the Blue Ring spacecraft program. You will build automated testing pipelines and virtual execution environments, collaborating with internal teams and external customers.

The role requires 3+ years in software testbed infrastructure, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling, plus familiarity with hardware emulation and Azure cloud services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing software testbed infrastructure for innovative systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ development and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitLab, or GitHub, and Jenk ins.
  • Familiar with hardware emulation tools like Simics and software verification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and IP networking concepts.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer-specific testbed infrastructure solutions with external customers.
  • Build and manage automated testing pipelines and virtual execution environments to improve testbed velocity.
