Blue Origin is seeking engineers to develop and manage a software-in-loop and hardware-in-loop testbed for the Blue Ring spacecraft program. You will build automated testing pipelines and virtual execution environments, collaborating with internal teams and external customers.
The role requires 3+ years in software testbed infrastructure, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling, plus familiarity with hardware emulation and Azure cloud services.

The role is part of the In‑Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on‑orbit.
As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you'll own and drive development of a groundbreaking simulation testbed for our Blue Ring spacecraft program. Blue Ring is the "Swiss Army Knife of satellites" and can support a variety of missions in Earth orbit domains out to the cislunar region - including transporting and hosting payloads, refueling satellites, as well as performing data relay, storage and compute via our in‑space edge compute capability.
In this role you'll build and manage the automated testing pipelines and virtual execution environments for the software‑in‑the‑loop (SWIL) simulation and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HWIL) testbed. You'll collaborate both with our internal integration and test team and external customers to support the smooth operation of testbeds that precisely reflect spacecraft operations.
