Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated offers a 6-month In Silico Modeling Co‑Op in Boston. You will work on projects to understand structure–function relationships for biologics, gain practical experience, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving biopharmaceutical setting.

This paid co‑op runs January through July 2027, with a rolling application process and an emphasis on growth, mentorship, and real project impact.

Formación

• Pursuing an advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with in silico modeling and structural prediction of proteins/antibodies.
• Experience with molecular dynamics and protein–ligand/protein–protein interactions.
• Able to work full-time 40 hours/week from January–July 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Build workflows for protein structure prediction and contribute to structure–function understanding.
• Use molecular dynamics to evaluate interactions and macroscopic properties.
• Refine models with experimental data and established workflows.
• Evaluate Vertex pipeline molecules with existing workflows.
• Report progress and write development protocols and reports.
• Maintain thorough lab documentation.
