Job summary

Gersh Autism is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in Issaquah, WA. The role collaborates with therapists and educators to evaluate student needs, plan evidence‑based interventions, and contribute to IEP development.

The ideal candidate has NBCOT accreditation, WA state OT/L licensure, and at least one year of pediatric school experience. A strong emphasis on professional communication and student safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have NBCOT-accredited OT program and complete fieldwork requirements.
• Must possess WA State OTR/L licensure.
• One year of experience as an OT, preferably in school or pediatric setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other disciplines to plan and deliver evaluations and services.
• Evaluates student occupational performance and develops occupational profiles.
• Synthesizes results into reports and guides intervention.
• Develops intervention plans aligned to student needs and IEP goals.
• Participates in multidisciplinary meetings to develop IEPs and transition plans.
• Educates and collaborates with staff, families, and community partners.
• Maintains records and confidentiality and ensures safety.
