Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the Kent School District in Kent, WA. You will assess students, develop therapy plans, and support IEP goals to boost participation in school activities through motor skills, sensory strategies, and environmental adaptations.

Hours align with school days, with contract options of annual or 13-week terms. WA licensure and ESA eligibility preferred; weekly pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license.
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy and determine eligibility.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans targeting student goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and advise on accommodations.
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy in classrooms and school settings.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Document progress and maintain records per district/state guidelines.
