Job summary

Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort, is seeking an In Room Dining Server who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our team provides exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifies the Golden Rule in every interaction.

Work authorization required. Deliver in-room dining with accuracy, greet guests warmly, and maintain brand standards while coordinating with other departments to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in the United States is required.
• The hospitality business operates seven days a week and requires flexibility with schedule.
• HB Hawaii TB clearance card is required by the Hawaii DoH.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card is required for this role.
• Maui Liquor Card is preferred but not required.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 50lbs, and push/pull as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional in-room dining service by accurately delivering food and beverages, verifying orders, accommodating dietary restrictions and special requests, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation and hospitality.
• Provide personalized guest service by greeting guests warmly, sharing menu knowledge, anticipating needs, and responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining equipment, service areas, guest corridors, and workspaces, including setup, breakdown, sanitation, restocking, and timely retrieval of trays and dishware.
• Deliver guest, daily, and Hale amenities in accordance with brand standards, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Process guest checks, room charges, signatures, and billing adjustments accurately and in accordance with established procedures and accounting standards.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver exceptional in‑room dining service by accurately delivering food and beverages, verifying orders, accommodating dietary restrictions and special requests, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality.
• Provide personalized guest service by greeting guests warmly, sharing menu knowledge, anticipating needs, and responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of in‑room dining equipment, service areas, guest corridors, and workspaces, including setup, breakdown, sanitation, restocking, and timely retrieval of trays and dishware.
• Deliver guest, daily, and Hale amenities in accordance with brand standards, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Process guest checks, room charges, signatures, and billing adjustments accurately and in accordance with established procedures and accounting standards.

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States.
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card is required for this role.
• Maui Liquor Card Preferred, but not required.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 50lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.
