Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts’ The Whitley Buckhead property in Atlanta is seeking a friendly room service server to ensure guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience in their suite or guest room.

You will set up and deliver food and beverages, maintain sanitation, and respond to guest needs with poise. The role includes VIP duties, shift-side work, and cash handling, with tipping and service charges included. Prior hotel or restaurant experience is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and carry trays up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation.
• Set up VIP amenities and service hospitality suites per Banquet Event Orders.
• Complete shift side work as outlined in operating policies and procedures.
• Respond to guest needs and issues to ensure a quality experience and future sales.
• Report all communications to the shift supervisor.
• Perform cash handling responsibilities as required.
• Attend to attendance and be available to work regularly.
