Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Omaha Marriott Downtown, is seeking a dedicated Room Service Server to deliver menu items to guest rooms and uphold the renowned Marriott service standards. You will be part of a team in a downtown Omaha property known for world‑class hospitality and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes learning menu details, accurate tray setup, timely room delivery, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food, beverage and service standards.
• In-depth understanding of beverages and wines.
• Familiarity with all menu items and accompaniments; ability to memorize and promote items.
• Proficient in English for customer communication and instructions.
• Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of room service operations, staffing and guest relations.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain government licenses/certificates (TIPS and Douglas County food handler cert).

Responsibilities

• Learn all menu items and garnishments for proper plate setup.
• Prepare trays and deliver to rooms.

• Check floors to ensure trays/carts are retrieved.

What will you be doing?

• Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and the proper garnishments to execute proper plate set‑up.
