The Omaha Marriott Downtown At The Capitol District is seeking a friendly Room Service Server to deliver meals directly to guest rooms and uphold Marriott standards in our downtown Omaha hotel. Qualifications

• Knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards.
• In-depth understanding of beverages and wines.
• Familiarity with all menu items and ability to memorize and promote menu items.
• Proficient in English for customer communication and product instructions.
• Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of room service operations and guest relations.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain government-required licenses or certificates (TIPS and Douglas County food handler certification).

Responsibilities

• Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and garnishments for proper plate setup.
• Prepare trays and deliver to rooms.
• Maintain Marriott service standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Check floors to ensure all trays and carts are retrieved.
• Prepare and deliver guest amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the room service area and personal hygiene.

As a Room Service Server at The Omaha Marriott Downtown, you will be responsible for delivering menu items directly to our guest's rooms in a professional and timely manner ensuring total satisfaction.

What will you be doing?

• Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and the proper garnishments to execute proper plate set-up.
• Prepare trays and deliver to rooms.
• Maintain complete guest satisfaction by maintaining Marriott service standards.
• Check floors to be sure all trays and carts are retrieved.
• Prepare and deliver guest amenities.
• Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation of Room Service area along with personal hygiene.

What do you bring to the role?

• Knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards, no previous experience required.
• In-depth understanding of beverages and wines.
• Familiarity with all menu items and their accompaniments and ability to memorize and promote menu items effectively.
• Proficient in English for customer communication and understanding product instructions.
• Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of room service operations, staffing, and guest relations.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills to maintain service standards.
• Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate. TIPS and Douglas County food handler certification required.
