Job summary

Omni Fort Worth Hotel seeks dedicated hospitality professionals to join our team. The role centers on taking guests' room service orders, relaying them to servers, and expediting delivery to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include answering the phone promptly, taking orders, upselling, confirming delivery times, handling payments, and maintaining knowledge of the menu and wine list. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous food and beverage in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel with room service experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone within three rings.
• Take orders for guests.
• Follow prepared scenario to encourage upselling.
• Provide delivery time estimates to guests.
• Prepare payment of checks.
• Maintain knowledge of the food menu and wine list.
• Follow all liability laws.
• Print end-of-shift reports and perform banking.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Overview

To properly take all guests' R/S orders, communicate them to the servers and work to expedite their service. To properly perform all control and revenue related paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to answer the phone within three rings.
• Take orders for guests.
• Must follow prepared scenario to encourage upselling.
• Give the approximate time of delivery for the order.
• Prepare payment of checks.
• Knowledge of food menu and wine list.
• Know and adhere to all liability laws.
• Printing of reports at the end of the shift and banking out.
• Complete other duties assigned.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
