Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a room service attendant to provide prompt, courteous in-room dining service aboard our ship.

You will take orders, deliver meals and beverages, and maintain a clean, fully stocked room service area, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with safety standards. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with travel opportunities and the potential to advance within the hospitality team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in hotel or cruise ship settings.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must obtain a valid passport and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous room service to guests, taking orders and delivering food and beverages to rooms.
• Ensure orders are accurate and delivered timely per company standards and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area, pantry, and storage areas.
• Stock and replenish items in the room service menu to ensure availability.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures for handling and storing food and beverages.
• Collaborate with culinary team to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to standard.
• Assist with other duties as assigned, including in-room dining events and special requests.
