Job summary

Seneca Niagara Falls Gaming Corporation seeks a Room Service Receptionist to deliver an enjoyable in-room dining experience. You will answer calls, coordinate with room service staff, and ensure guest needs are met with professionalism.

You must communicate in English, work in a fast-paced environment, and uphold company policies. The role requires flexible hours on a 24-hour schedule and attendance at required trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy and noisy environment.
• Six months of previous office experience with answering phones and coordinating customer service needs.
• Excellent guest relations skills and the ability to anticipate guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Report to work station as scheduled and on time.
• Complete the shift and check schedule for next shift.
• Professionally answer all incoming room service calls with a professional manner before the 3rd ring.
• Assist guests with any questions regarding room service menus.
• Direct guest issues to appropriate management for immediate recovery.
• Notify shift manager of additional guest needs.
• Coordinate door hangers with shift managers for overnight turnaround.
• Maintain understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security and Acceptable Use Policy.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
• Complete required SGС training within nine months of employment start.
• Attend all necessary meetings.
• Duties may change; hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
