Job summary

Collins Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an In-Process Inspector to inspect parts at various stages of manufacture and to monitor compliance with quality and customer requirements.

The role includes training shop floor personnel in QC methods and ensuring the right measurement tools are available for each job. The candidate will perform mechanical and visual inspections, interpret technical drawings, and uphold safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically and visually inspect parts according to customer requirements
• Inspects workmanship and ensures conformance to specs
• Follow up with print clarification, IP form updates, router, print and MR sheet notes
• Train shop floor employees on QC methods for each job
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment
• Ensure safe work practices are followed
• Other duties as assigned
