Job Summary:
The In-ProcessInspector inspects parts at various stages of manufacture and monitorscompliance to Quality and customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Mechanically and visually inspect parts according to customerrequirements.
- Inspects workmanship
- Follow up with print clarification, IP form updates, router, printand MR sheet notes
- Train shop floor employees and help set them up with the proper QCmethods for each job
- Train shop floor employees on the best mechanical inspectionmethods and ensure the correct tools are available for each job
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain equipmentused
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicating effectivelywith co-workers and management
- Ensure that safe work practices are followed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of various measuring devices such as calipers, outsidemicrometers, pitch mics, bore gages, pin gages, thread gages, testindicator, comparator and microscope.

Work Environment:
While performing theduties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanicalparts. The noise level in the workenvironment is usually moderate.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Specific technical or vocationaltraining preferred
- Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably with a machiningbackground along with in-process inspection experienceKnowledge of technical drawing interpretation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work accurately and thoroughly
