Job summary

ReCon Management Services, Inc. seeks a Field Engineer—System Turnover and PSSR to support in-plant capital projects and facility modifications.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Contractors to ensure complete, documented systems ready for safe startup. Ideal candidates have strong turnover, mechanical completion, punch-list, and PSSR experience, plus the ability to read P&IDs and vendor docs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Five or more years in field engineering, construction, commissioning, or industrial facility execution.
• Experience with system turnover, mechanical completion, punch lists, and PSSR.
• Ability to read P&IDs, drawings, specifications, and vendor documents.
• Knowledge of MOC, PSM, PHA, and startup-readiness requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering support during construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Verify installed equipment, piping, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and safety systems meet drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate turnover packages with drawings, P&IDs, vendor data, inspection/test records, calibration certificates, redlines, and as-built docs.
• Lead system walkdowns and identify incomplete, deficient, or nonconforming work.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in PSSR activities for new or modified facilities and systems.
• Track MOC, PHA, PSSR, and pre-startup actions to completion or approved disposition.
