RigUp, Inc. seeks a Senior Field Engineer to lead mechanical completion, system turnover, and PSSR for a major brownfield relocation along a Gulf Coast corridor. You will perform on-site walkdowns, verify assets against P&IDs and isometrics, and drive commissioning readiness with safety as a priority.

You will coordinate with construction, engineering, operations, and safety to close punch-lists, manage MOC workflows, and ensure all work adheres to PSM standards during a 40,000-foot piping scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent discipline.
• 8+ years of industrial field engineering, turnaround, commissioning, or mechanical completion in refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, or midstream facilities.
• Ability to read and audit P&IDs, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and vendor data packages.
• Solid working knowledge of PSM, PHA, MOC protocols, and formal PSSR processes.
• Willingness to wear fall protection gear, climb ladders, and walk long distances in Gulf Coast conditions.

Responsabilités

• Lead field engineering and verification on site, walking down about 40,000 feet of piping and verifying against P&IDs and ISOs.
• Set up and enforce system boundaries, acceptance criteria, and turnover sequencing for fast handover.
• Manage punch-list lifecycle across disciplines and verify corrective actions before energization.
• Coordinate and co-facilitate Pre-Startup Safety Reviews with operations, safety, engineering, and contractors.
• Oversee line isolation, cleaning, flushing, de-inventorying, and tie-in activities with field teams.
• Administer MOC tracking and document control within the project knowledge system.
• Coordinate daily with multi-craft contractors to hit critical path milestones with safety and quality.
