H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to help clients navigate complex tax situations. You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships, supported by training and technology.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience preparing complex individual and business returns, including tax planning and audit support.
Experience in a client-facing, consultative or advisory role.
Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
Must complete continuing education and state/IRS requirements.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations (individual and business).
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
Build year-round client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and Block Advisors products.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a client-focused office environment.
