Job summary

Patient's Choice Laboratories in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Medical Laboratory Admin Assistant to support patients, providers, and clinical teams in a fast-paced, in-person role. You will handle data entry, answer inquiries, schedule and resolve issues with empathy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience using medical terminology.
• Previous customer service experience; call center experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patient and provider inquiries and manage inbound calls with data entry focus.
• Provide accurate information on laboratory questions, order status, and specimen requirements.
• Navigate multiple software platforms to research and resolve questions.
• Document interactions accurately in company systems.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and ensure timely communication.
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues to management.
• Maintain patient and company confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Support daily operational needs and assist with additional responsibilities.
