LACOE Juvenile Court Schools sites:Afflerbaugh-Paige Camp, Camp Glenn Rockey, Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall, Dorothy Kirby Camp, Barry J. Nidorf Secure Youth Treatment Facility, Road to Success Academy at Campus Kilpatrick SDF
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am -12 pm now through the end of the 2026-27 School Year
Pay Rate
$20-30 per hour.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or minimum of 24 college credits required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience working with students in grades 6-12; experience in juvenile justice or alternative education settings a plus
Strong content knowledge in middle and high school math, experience tutoring ELA is a plus
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to pass required background clearances (e.g., LiveScan/fingerprinting) as required by LACOE
Reliable transportation to assigned site
Responsibilities
Provide small-group and push-in math support aligned to student needs during the school day
Track and report student progress
Participate in instructional planning with teachers and school leaders, administration of assessments, and coordination meetings
Collaborate with Tutor Partners staff and site personnel to coordinate scheduling and materials
Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment
