Job summary

BEACON BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT SERVICES in Bellaire, TX is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to ensure timely care delivery. This 100% in-person role will be based in our Houston office and will require coordinating schedules for medical staff and patients with the healthcare team.

You will maintain accurate scheduling records, resolve conflicts promptly, and communicate effectively with patients and staff. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 1+ year experience in healthcare

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma; 1+ year healthcare or scheduling experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred: associate’s or bachelor’s in healthcare administration.
• Experience with scheduling software and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced healthcare environments.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage schedules for medical staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure scheduling needs are met and patient care is not compromised.
