The Pay-O-Matic Corporation is seeking a Front-Line Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Bronx, NY. This full-time role requires handling customer transactions, assisting with financial needs, and supporting store operations across assigned locations.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, opening customer accounts, and promoting Pay-O-Matic services. The position may involve weekends, holidays and store floating to nearby locations.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience or equivalent.

• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and responds to customers’ needs.
• Processes customer transactions including cashing checks, money transfers, bill payments and selling prepaid products.
• Opens new preferred customer accounts and issues cards (e.g., inPower debit).
• Ensures completion of customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintains customer accounts with updated photos, addresses and phone numbers.
• Maintains knowledge of Payomatic’s products and services.
• Responds to inquiries about accounts or services professionally.
• Promotes services by informing customers about valuable offerings.
• Follows cash handling procedures and safety policies.
• Keeps the store area clean and organized during shifts.
