Job summary

Center for Family and Child Enrichment, Inc. seeks a dedicated in-person interpreter to support families with children birth to 3 years in our Massachusetts programs.

You will interpret for early intervention visits, intake and evaluations, ensuring clear communication between parents and staff. This role requires fluent English and the language of the populations served, a valid driver's license, and reliable personal transportation.

Qualifications

• Verbal fluency in English and the language of the population served.
• Interpreting experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for in-person interpreting services.
• Understanding of interpreter role in encouraging and fostering direct communication between provider and parent/caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpreting for families.
• Facilitate communication between parents/caregivers and early intervention staff.
• Schedule visits for early intervention staff.
• Provide interpreting services for intake, evaluation and home visits.
