Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Columbia, MD is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (OP Adolescent) to provide individual and group therapy with adolescents in a collaborative clinical model. The role centers on building therapeutic relationships and delivering evidence-based treatment within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires at least 2 years of direct clinical experience, a master’s degree in a related field, and proficiency in CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care.
• EMDR experience preferred and comfort with EMR systems.
• Able to work with both adolescents and adults in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adolescents.
• Work in person at our Columbia, Maryland location.
• Develop person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management.
• Design and deliver psychoeducational and skills groups focusing on regulation and coping.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists for integrated care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with families and external providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in on-call crisis support.
