Qualifications

• Inpatient coding experience required (CABG, Ortho, Med)
• Must have 3M 360 Encoder HDM experience
• Certification AHIMA/AAPC required
• 2-year degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes accurately from records
• Create compliant physician queries
• Review claims for medical necessity
• Update problem lists per client contract
• Assign present on admission indicators
• Provide excellent client and teammate service
• Float across sites and coding specialties
