DaMar Staffing seeks an In-Patient Coder to handle medical coding and data entry for hospital inpatient visits, including CABG, Orthopedic, and Medical cases. The role uses 3M 360 Encoder HDM to streamline coding and billing processes.

Essential duties include accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, creating compliant physician queries, reviewing claims for medical necessity, and updating problem lists per contract. Flexibility to float between sites is required.

Qualificações

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience with AHIMA/AAPC certification required.
• Active RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or COC credentials required.
• Experience coding CABG, Orthopedic, and Medical cases required.
• Experience using 3M 360 Encoder HDM required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail oriented and organized.

Responsabilidades

• Assign ICD-10-CM and PCS primary and secondary codes for inpatient records according to guidelines.
• Create compliant physician queries as needed.
• Review claims for medical necessity.
• Update problem lists per client contract.
• Assign present on admission indicators accurately.
• Provide excellent service to clients and teammates.
• Flexibly float between sites and coding specialties.
