Job summary

DOZ in Austin, TX is offering a full-time, in-office internship from January through mid-March. Interns work an average of 55 hours per week, with peak weeks up to 65 hours during the busy season.

You will complete onboarding, prepare partnership, individual, personal property, and corporate tax returns, and learn from a seasoned team. Expect to handle around 200 tax returns during the 3.5-month program.

Qualifications

• Accounting major pursuing CPA credit-hour requirements.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course before internship.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and training before client engagements.
• Prepare tax returns for partnerships, individuals, personal property, and corporations.
• Learn from team members with varied experience and knowledge.
• Complete an average of 200 tax returns in 3.5 months.
• Meet with supervisor to review progress and skills development.
