Job summary

Mid-West Family Madison is seeking a highly motivated SEO Technician to join our digital marketing team. The role focuses on executing SEO and CRO tasks, maintaining client websites (primarily WordPress), analyzing performance data, and improving search visibility.

This in-office position runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing. You’ll work with eight local radio stations, benefit from comprehensive training, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and on-page optimization.
• Strong analytics with ability to work with performance data.
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (SE Ranking, Semrush, Moz).
• Experience with CRO or A/B testing is a plus.
• Previous digital marketing/SEO experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute ongoing SEO tasks including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Conduct basic technical SEO audits and fix issues.
• Update SEO and CRO content within WordPress sites.
• Monitor organic traffic and rankings with analytics tools.
• Stay informed on AI in search and apply tools appropriately.
• Set up and maintain tracking for SEO reporting.
• Collaborate with team to improve usability and conversions.
• Assist with landing page tests and CRO updates.
• Help set up Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile.
• Follow processes and propose improvements.
• Manage multiple client tasks and deadlines with the team.
