Job summary

Posted Social in St. Louis is hiring an SEO Manager to own strategy and technical SEO for a growing client base. You’ll lead the on-site and SEO team, partner with design, content, and ads teams, and drive search visibility across WordPress sites.

You’ll work hands-on while growing the department, with a starting salary of $65,000 to $80,000 and quarterly/annual performance bonuses as the team expands. This is an in-person, full-time role at our St. Louis office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on SEO with strong technical foundation.
• Deep WordPress skills; diagnose speed issues and indexation.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Bing Tools, Clarity, Semrush, BrightLocal, Screaming Frog, Rank Math, Perfmatters.
• Experience with Google Ads and Local Services Ads.
• Experience leading projects or people, or drive to grow into leading a team.
• Ability to explain a technical problem to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO strategy across client accounts, prioritizing work that moves leads and revenue.
• Conduct technical SEO audits: site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, page speed, schema.
• Manage WordPress performance tuning, plugin and caching conflicts, redirects, and migrations.
• Develop Local SEO and Google Business Profiles; stay ahead in AI/search visibility.
• Measure performance with Search Console, GA4 and ranking tools; tie to leads and revenue.
