Job summary

Stantec’s Austin-based Buildings team seeks a Project Coordinator to support project execution in line with ISO requirements, policies, and client standards. The role is ideal for a motivated individual or an EIT/Intern Architect seeking hands-on controls and management experience in a design consultancy.

You will work with the project team to track status, risks, and changes, ensuring timely, accurate documentation and compliance across deliverables. In-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate in related field; or equivalent education/experience/registration as an EIT or Intern Architect.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant project coordination experience.
• Experience in a consulting architecture/engineering environment (EPCM) or Capital Project/Program Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement document control processes and tracking (minutes, RFIs, submittals, change logs).
• Maintain current understanding of project status, issues, changes.
• Support project management to adhere to client standards and procedures.
• Prepare high-quality documents (spec packages, reports, RFIs, minutes, submittals).
• Coordinate project deliverables and schedules.
• Prepare project setup documentation.
• Maintain best practices in document control and record retention.
• Support senior leaders and teams to promote project success.
