Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate, be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and file management systems (iManage a plus), and able to handle discovery, subpoenas, and trial support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Civil litigation experience required; medical malpractice experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with web-based legal research services.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with civil case prep during discovery and at trial.
• Manage discovery and records; prepare subpoenas and track responses.
• Summarize medical and employment records; create chronologies and meet-and-confer letters.
• Review and summarize records; synthesize data for tort cases, including transcripts.
• Motion writing experience (oppositions, discovery motions).
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel; learn document/case management systems.
