Responsibilities

• Provide patients with an outstanding eyewear experience from selection to fitting.
• Process orders accurately through MEC’s point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain detailed prescription, order, payment, and insurance records.
• Review lab orders to ensure timely, accurate completion.
• Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Dispense prescription and non-prescription eyewear and contact lenses where applicable.
• Assist with eyewear adjustments, repairs, and cleaning.
• Maintain frame inventory and keep displays organized and stocked.
• Review daily patient schedules to anticipate volume and insurance eligibility.
• Support in-office promotions and marketing materials.
• Foster positive relationships with providers, technicians, and staff.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
