Job summary

MEEMIC Insurance Company in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an in-office Insurance Agent to service existing clients, analyze coverage, and sell new policies. The role offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment with inbound leads and no cold calling.

Required is an active Michigan Property and Casualty license, at least three years in the insurance industry, and the ability to work in person Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

Local insurance agency in Ann Arbor, Michigan is looking for property and casualty insurance professionals to join our team. We have a 40-year track record of success with consistent growth. This is a team-oriented office environment with good staff retention. We have numerous in-bound leads, and no cold calling is required.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Service existing clients via phone, email, and in person meetings
• Analyze coverage and provide recommendations
• Quote and sell new prospects (NOcold calling)
• Work constructively in a team environment

Required:

• Active Michigan Property and Casualty insurance license
• Minimum of three years of experience working in the insurance industry
• Must be a detail oriented, self-directed individual
• Must be available to work in person at one of our Ann Arbor locations (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM)

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting hourly wage (based on experience): $24/hour
