Job summary

Pacific Specialty Insurance Company (PSIC) is seeking a Claims Support Specialist to join our in-office team three days per week. You will assist with mail and phone calls, perform claim intake and loss assignment tasks, help move customers forward after incidents, and provide multi-faceted support to the claims organization.

This role also involves planning office events, placing travel orders, coordinating supplies, and supporting claim adjusters and leaders as needed in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Significant prior applicable work experience required.
• Some college/degree preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is helpful, but not required.
• Friendly, positive and professional demeanor.
• Ability to make timely and accurate decisions.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage/Process incoming mail and phone calls (75%).
• Perform claim intake and loss assignment processes including setting up a new claim in the system and coordinating with Claims Representative.
• Post payback/adjustments from subro/salvage.
• Handle low complexity claims.
• Support Claims Team as directed by management.
