Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Civil litigation experience required.
• Familiarity with web-based legal research services.
• Experience with paperless files (iManage preferred).
• Must pass a background/drug screen.
• Bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with preparation of civil cases for trial.
• Handle discovery and records management.
• Summarize medical and employment records, create chronologies, summarize discovery responses.
• Assist with motion writing, including oppositions and discovery motions.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.
