Job summary

WesBanco Defiance Main Banking Center in Defiance, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide excellent service while processing transactions in person and identifying sales opportunities. This role supports customers as the first point of contact and ensures accurate handling of banking operations.

The CSR will maintain confidentiality, balance the cash drawer, learn banking software, and work with team members to meet sales and service goals within a 100% in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn banking software and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Accepts and accurately processes financial service transactions.
• Balances cash drawer and follows cash handling procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and customer information.
• Answer incoming calls and support sales/service needs.
• Develops knowledge of bank products and services.
• Determines appropriate line of business for sales opportunities and complex service issues.
• Performs outbound calls as needed to support sales and service goals.
