Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) seeks a Production Controller for our Jacksonville, FL site, reporting to the Production Planning Manager. This role focuses on coordinating production activities, mitigating risks to on-time delivery, and supporting planners to optimize utilization.

Second shift 3:00pm–11:30pm EST; in-office presence required. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience, plus proficiency with Excel, ERP systems, and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent with 4 years related experience.
• Experience with manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIP and communicate schedule changes to accommodate delays, shortages, or recovery plans.
• Track and report production status as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks and help implement solutions to meet delivery deadlines.
• Support Production Planners and schedulers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, maintenance and other departments.
• Generate and maintain weekly production reports.
• Document history and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and scheduling policies.
