Job summary

Labcorp in Madison, WI is seeking a Supervisor - In-Life Operations to lead a team conducting nonclinical regulatory and non-regulatory studies in drug development. You will hire, coach, schedule, and perform reviews, ensuring deadlines per SOPs/GLPs, while monitoring animal welfare under applicable acts with AAALAC considerations.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to work independently or with others in a fast-paced setting; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science discipline or 3+ years of lab/research experience.
• 1 year or more prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team for nonclinical regulatory and non-regulatory studies.
• Hire, coach, schedule, and perform performance reviews.
• Ensure testing meets deadlines per SOPs and GLPs.
• Monitor animal health and welfare per Animal Welfare Act; AAALAC compliance.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; coordinate resources for study tasks.
• Provide safety training and respond to reports from Study Direction and regulators.
• Communicate study progress and updates within the group.
