Job summary

The Scalable Company is seeking a YouTube long-form editor to own end-to-end editing pipelines for two channels. You will craft publish-ready cuts with tight pacing, clean audio, and strong B-roll, while building templates, asset libraries, and revision workflows from scratch.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to define channel voices, manage Frame.io projects, and ensure on-time publishes with minimal revisions. A proven editing portfolio and 4K workflow experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time experience editing long-form YouTube content.
• Portfolio with at least 5 published long-form edits as primary editor.
• Strong motion graphics and animation proficiency.
• Expert-level Davinci Resolve Studio or Premiere Pro proficiency.
• Strong audio engineering instincts.
• Demonstrated storytelling instinct and pacing.
• Frame.io proficiency and revision-loop discipline.
• Self-management on deadlines; ability to back-time the work.
• AI fluency and ability to accelerate edits with AI tools.
• Workstation capable of editing 4K ProRes footage.

Responsibilities

• Own the long-form edit pipeline across both channels from raw footage to publish-ready cuts.
• Build the foundational in-house edit workflow with templates, organization, and feedback loops.
• Develop and refine each channel's edit signature for voice and audience.
• Manage project files, asset libraries, and version control in Frame.io and Premiere.
• Direct creative decisions on cuts, pacing, and structure; provide drafts for strategist review.
• Iterate quickly on revision feedback with ≤2 rounds per video.
• Analyze YouTube retention curves and adjust future edits accordingly.
